Hattie’s would like to thank all of those who attended, donated and worked the 9th Annual Hattie’s Mardi Gras.  Without the support of the community we would not have raised $44,000 for Saratoga Hospital.  Thank you, thank you.  If you didn’t attend this year, there is always next…don’t miss the good time for a good cause.

Dine out at Hattie’s this Valentine’s Day and help Haiti!  Hattie’s will be giving ten percent of sales to Doctors Without Borders.  Just by going out to dinner with your special someone you can give back.  Don’t forget, Hattie’s also takes reservations on Valentine’s Day.  We will see you all on Sunday.

Come on out tomorrow between 11-4 to enjoy Saratoga Chowder Fest.  Sample chowder from all the local restaurants.  Hattie’s will be serving Carmelized Onion and Smoked Chicken Chowder as well as our famous mojitos and bloody marys with Salbaby’s Bloody Mary mix.  Last year Hattie’s won ‘Best Off Broadway’ for our chowder, so come on down and enjoy the day!

We just wanted to let all of our customers know we will be closed from January 3 until January 10 re-opening on the 11th.  We will see you all in a week.  Thank you for wonderful 2009 and we look forward to 2010!

Hattie’s will be open New Year’s Day for the first time ever!  Come on in and get some fried chicken….the ultimate hang over cure.  If you would like to be more traditional, we will also be serving good luck black eyed peas, greens and pork.  Doors open at 5pm…we’ll see you then.

It is a week that many people look forward to.  It is when most Saratoga restaurants offer either a 2-course lunch or a 3-course dinner.  Hattie’s is offering an amazing 3-course dinner for $18.19.  Restaurant week started yesterday, the 4th, ends on Thursday the 10th.  What many people don’t know is that Hattie’s offers the same 3-course menu every night except Friday and Saturday for just $1.19 more!  For $19.38, which happens to be the year Miss Hattie first opened her door, you may choose an appetizer, an entree and a dessert.  You can start with hush puppies, then warm up with chicken and dumplings, and finish your night off a little sweet with a slice of pecan pie topped with fresh made whipped cream.  So if you missed restaurant week, you can still get Hattie’s 3-course menu Sunday-Thursday!

Jasper has really perfected this new shrimp appetizer.  Six shrimp marinated and smothered in a sweet and spicy sauce, yum!  Don’t worry, it also comes with grilled bread to soak up the extra saucy goodness.  So next time you’re at Hattie’s, try Jasper’s Savory Shrimp…it’s so good you’ll want more!

Hattie’s 9th Annual Mardi gras will take place on Saturday January 16th at the Canfield Casino.   This year’s theme is a Masquerade Soiree!!  We are working to raise money for our local emergency room at Saratoga Hospital.  Invites will go out soon, the public is always welcome!  Please call 518-583-8340 for information.  Tickets are $75.00 per person.Garland Nelson with Soul Session is playing…this is always a fun night!
